Rome 1996. Evenings in the capital swing between noisy nightclubs with cover charges and the usual traditional taverns in the city centre. In a scene like this, the Eternal City was crying out for something fresh… a burst of Irish energy! That moment came thanks to Guinness —the iconic Irish beer brand—which chose Rome as the perfect place to open a flagship venue in Italy, sending here a group of Irish carpenters who, to the sound of Guinness and sawing motions, created wonders that we still admire in the pub. And so, in a stylish Liberty-style building, the Trinity College Pub was born—named after the historic university in Dublin. A Disco Pub with free entry, ready to liven up Rome’s nightlife and offer locals and tourists alike music, events, quality beer and a whole lot of fun. Today, Trinity Bar is one of the longest-standing Irish pubs in Rome. A lively, cosmopolitan meeting point open seven days a week, full of youthful energy and a vibrant atmosphere. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offering to include not only classic pub finger food, but also a rich and varied menu, alongside a broad and refined drinks list.
